Aluwave

Bringing two brands into one clear identity

Aluwave operates in a highly technical market, delivering customized luminaires and advanced lighting solutions for demanding environments. But as the company expanded, the brand structure became harder to navigate — and the full scope of Aluwave’s expertise was no longer clearly communicated.

When Aluwave acquired Barel, the need for a unified identity became clear. Dragster helped shape a new brand foundation that could bring the company together under one direction –  creating clarity, strengthening credibility and building a platform designed for future growth.

A Unified Vision in Lighting

Dragster developed a new brand platform and identity to unify Aluwave’s expanded company structure after the acquisition of barel.no. The goal was to create a clearer foundation that could represent the full scope of Aluwave’s offering — from explosion-proof industrial electronics to tailored professional luminaires — under one coherent brand.

A key part of the work was elevating the brand voice. In a highly technical industry, Aluwave’s expertise is already proven — but to support long-term growth, the company needed to communicate with more vision and direction. By moving the narrative to a higher level, we helped Aluwave express not only what they build, but what they enable. The result is a brand designed to strengthen internal unity, increase clarity in the market and support the next stage of expansion.

A platform built to unify and scale

With Aluwave’s expanded structure, the brand needed a clearer foundation – one that could hold a wider offer without becoming fragmented. Dragster developed a brand platform that brought all parts of the company under one shared direction, creating clarity across markets, teams and customer segments.

The focus was to simplify how Aluwave explains its expertise: not as separate products or technical categories, but as one integrated capability. A platform designed to make the brand easier to understand, stronger to stand behind – and ready to scale.
